I've never known a Muslim or a Jew, I'm not really even sure if I've ever known a Presbyterian.
It's never really occurred to me to ask.
But......... (warning butt monkey).
The world has gotten to the point that I must consider anyone I do not know to be a friend with suspicion. And even friends must be considered human, therefore suspect when their self interest is at play. I didn't choose to make the world this way, but, that's the way it looks to me. That's kind of the thought process behind the whole open/concealed carry question, is it not? I haven't seen anyone on this board pots something like " I conceal carry because I like the way it makes my sport coat hang", or "carrying a .45 gives me a lot better balance when I'm walking down the street". Or "it makes me feel sexy" wait a minnit, I have heard that one. I don't know if there is really anything to admit. It's mostly about "I want to be able to defend myself & my family/friends from enemies".i think we can certainly all agree, not all Muslims are interested in killing us. I suspect a lot of them are just interested in making it through the day. If you could prove to me somewhere back down the line one of my ancestors did something to piss someone of any race, creed or religion off, it wouldn't surprise me. But that sword probably cuts both ways. I'm not going to go hunting down "commies" or "nazis" or anyone else for something that happened in the past. If you live your life that way, I'm sure you can find reason to hate anyone/everyone.Does that mean i want to "turn the other cheek"? No. Does that mean I want to "kill them all and let God sort them out"? No.
But anyway. I forgot where I was going with this.

I dont think it was so silly, OK. so did our military PLAN for the DU rounds (Depleted Uranium)
To cause cancer and destroy lives for the next what.. whats the half life of DU? 1/4 a million years?

That didnt sound silly to me, it sounds SICK, and freaking retarded.

Do we have ANY idea how many 20-30MM rounds are stuck in the mud and such?

Seriously, does anyone else even realize how much we've screwed that region? The radioactive substances are imbedded into the soil. Whatever food or water that region could manage before is useless. They can't breed. People keep saying "We just need to kill 'em all!" but we have been and we still are. Effectively. I just don't get it....

Completely irrelevant under the circumstances. This is Lybia, not the middle east. We haven't done any killing in Lybia since the retaliation for Pan Am 103, except to aid the rebels in their fight to depose Gadhaffi. Yes, we helped them. This is not a protest over a crappy movie by a Copt in California, this was a skilfully planned and executed attack by professionals, not a mob action.

Grab some facts before going off on a tangent. That way you won't look so silly.

GTG, I gotta disagree with you. While I am all for tracking down and killing every mothers' son (and daughter) who have participated in attacks on Americans, and I have no EMPATHY for the enemy, I would certainly feel as they do if I were in their position.

Most of the people on this board brag about wanting to fight if our own government became too oppressive. Unless, you all are a bunch of wind bag liars, I suspect if you were Iraqis or Afangahnis or some other creed over there, you would be fighting.

So just how many radioactive substances do you think we've fired into Lybia? Oh, and Lybia is a country in central North Africa, not a region. How many radioactive substances do you think we've fired into North Africa?

Can I back up a page or two? Ok, thanks! Christianity is based off the NEW testament, Judaism is based off of the OLD testament. All 3 religions have the same GOD, but by different names, and have different prophets. Christians do study the old testament, but are not bound by it. Jesus Christ came to make a new testament. Yes I know some of the teachings of Christians are from the old testament, can I explain that, no.

i can, Jesus was a Jew, that was his Faith. He wasnt pleased with how temple priests were working with the Romans so he Flipped a few tables, called out a few Priests, got crusified. His followers attempted to try to teach his message and that evolved into Christianity.

I think if Jesus were alive today he would argue that Judaism is the path.

And again, this ain't the middle east. It's central North Africa. We aided the Lybians in deposing Gadhaffi. We have not invaded Lybia since the Barbary Wars 200 years ago.

I think it has more to do with the teaching of discontented Jews. You left out that whole immaculate Son of God part :D

Truth. And I know Libya is not Iraq, just pointing out the hypocricy of all the people saying "I don't care what country they hide in, kill 'em!" Also, if you believe Al-Qeada is responsible for this attack, then my point still applies. If you believe they are a nation-less militant faction that fights on behalf of the Muslim world against the US, then my point still applies. I wasn't talking about Libya in that statement. You are correct.

Depleted Uranium rounds are just bad.

This whole world is in bad shape.

I pray for forgiveness for human kind.
