For the record, Constitutional Carry is what is used in AK, AZ, and I believe WY now. As a US citizen, you can carry however you like without jumping through any government hoops.

Pretty sure VT is in there too.

Also just because the law allows something does not mean you have to run out and do it.

Not what I'm saying... The "CC" represents Constitutional Carry in this thread, but I see how that can throw a person off. My point is politicians play politics. To pass constitutional carry, the politicians backing it will cave to some asinine rule (like unloaded only) just to say they got it passed for the constituency. This is how government works these days. I'm a

I was agreeing with your point about "feel good bills." I think we just had a breakdown in communication.

Good chance you're right about VT too, I just rattled the ones I knew off the top of my head.

... and I didn't make any comment suggesting anyone run out and do anything, I was just clarifying the term for the original poster of the thread. Pardon for not making that clear.

I'm confused by this. Utah already allowed unlicensed open carry with a "two step" rule. Basically meant that you were required to carry with a loaded mag and an empty chamber. You hat to take 2 actions to fire the gun, and the easiest way to be in compliance was to carry mag loaded and empty chamber.
