the normal flu shots don't bother me at all when I get them,but with all of the negative press, I don't do the H1N1

The H1N1 is the virus that the UN declared a pandemic and Obama declared an emergency a year ago.

It's all blown out of proportion. Getting a chemical cocktail shot up in your arm to prevent a - for the most part - non life threatening virus? Keep your immune system healthy, and you'll be fine.

How about Obama is really a highly trained muslim virologist who developed this shot to destroy the manhood of every God Fearing, Gun Owning, Flag Waving Patriot. It will be administered by illegal aliens disguised as nurses. The whole plot was funded by ACORN and the Trilateral Commission. I got one a few weeks ago at CVS. They had a special if you bought some of their crap, you got a free flu shot. Wife bought the crap, and I got the shot. Wasn't bad. I didn't even cry. My arm was sore for a day.

I'M STILL ALIVE and I don't THINK the .gov is controlling my brain yet. Got my tinfoil ready just in case I start having strange thoughts around election day.

I've had the flu a couple of times and it's horrible. Usually knocks me down to laying in bed for about a week. Fever and puking.....awful.

I'll gladly take a shot if it will prevent or even lessen the effects of getting the flu bug.

Just curious as to why you folk shy away from getting the flu shot.?

This ... can't remember ever being as sick as I was the year I had the flu. It took me a full month to get my feet back up under me. Blah!

I work at walmart were they give the flu shot. I waited till the table was full and people were in line waiting to get thier ''flu shot'' I asked the nurse '' does that have h1n1 in it'' Already knowing it does. She said ''yes'' and half the people in line walked away and 4 people sitting at the table got up before the needle was in their arm. I love how they dont tell people whats in there.

I've never received a flu shot. I don't know if I've ever had the flu, because when I get sick I just watch old TV shows and drink NyQuil on the rocks until it goes away.

I told my buddy during the height of the Swine Flu scare last year, we could have put on butchers coats and sat at a card table in a Quick Trip parking lot with a sign that said "Flu shots $10" and I bet people would have lined up. Have them sit down then punch them in the arm and yell "I'm not a nurse you *******! Get outta here!"

But I think that would be a good way to get arrested.

Every since I stopped getting flu shots I have yet to get the flu. I also always got sick as heck the day after getting them.
