The claim was that Iraq had active ongoing weapons programs engaged in production of biological and nuclear weapons and that was proven false.

That is a stockpile warehoused somewhere. To make matters worse, if you read the story it mentions other programs that did not turn up as much. How many programs and how much did they come up with? Add this to what we already know about and as usual the liberals were wrong.

As far as the NYTs as the source, when a left wing mouthpiece like the NYTs admits something that contradicts a lefty talking point, you know there is more to come. They usually dribble out bad news in small doses so lefties heads do not explode.

The weapons were there...he had a LONG time to get them out and he did it so we'd look stupid when none were found after we invaded. But then again, who are we to tell other governments what they can and can't have as long as they don't hurt us? Saddam didn't attack us, and all we did was remove a stable dictator who let women go to college & protected Christians; we paved the way for ISIS and removed the biggest offset to Iran...conservatives need to admit this...we have to learn from our mistakes...but we just keep doing it over and over like in Libya, etc...we're only hurting ourselves y'all...

well I'm no lefty and I do agree he had WMD's...I just don't agree with taking him out of power vs. the alternative we're now living with. Muslims do not want a republic...they have to find their own way and in the meantime, when they are ruled over by secular dictators, the world seems to be much safer. Mubarak, Saddam, Gaddafi, Assad, etc...wake up conservatives!
