+100 I have a few roku's and a Sony smp-n200 and they all work great for Netflix, Amazon video (tried the 1 month trial and canceled, not much on there,) and Plex(an app that allows you to stream video from a PC to the device.)
But if you want to watch anything that requires a browser that supports flash video, Espn3 for live sports, other sites for live sports, movies, TV shows etc. an HTPC(Home theater personal computer) is the only way to get that. Right now i'm using a cheap slim Dell inspirion that I upgraded the video card in. Works as a Dvr for Hi def over the air network TV as well using windows media center!
