I have heard from him a few times over the past month. He must really want this revolver!
Saturday I get an email from him (Armslist ad) stating "Hi i would like to buy your pre 36" with an OKC phone number in his email.
I have sent numerous pictures and told him all I know to in the ads and emails over the past month. He told me he wanted it, then when I replied I didn't hear back.
One time I told him it was sold pending funds, and he replied he would have given me $500 cash for it. I told him I would not go back on a commitment to a buyer and would not sell it for more than the asking price, but I would tell him if the deal fell through. It did fall through, so I let him know and never heard back from him.
In one of his emails he said he was located in OKC but would come to where I live to buy it. I told him it was available and the price and where I lived, but I never heard back from him.
I took a little different approach this time since I know he must really want this gun. I have sent a few emails in the past couple of days just so he doesn't think I am ignoring him or that he doesn't somehow misplace one or two or three of them. I have also been good enough to call him a few times today since he said he wanted to buy the gun.
I told him that I am sure since he has contacted me for the past month and wanted to come and buy the gun that he must want to schedule a time to meet today. Since he didn't schedule a time to meet today, I can only assume he wants to meet tomorrow so I have asked him to let me know what time that will take place.
Surprisingly, so far only voice mails today when I call his number and no response to my emails after his "Hi i would like to buy your pre 36" email Saturday. Maybe tomorrow?
I sincerely hope he is just a slow responder and that he is able to purchase this revolver he has wanted for so long. I will keep the forum updated because I know you all want to have the same faith in humanity I do.
Here's to positive thinking! No betting, please ;-)
