Nice pics. When did okjt go to the new site? Is it a paid or member only site now? I wouldnt mind bein able to make a few wheelin trips again. Ive never been to clayton.

Did Slim lift his TJ again?? I thought I saw it at 4wheel parts the other day and it looked bigger? He was leaving as I was pulling in.

They changed the site mid-December. There is a members-only section, that you must be a paid club member to access, but the site is still free.

Clayton is a lot of fun, personally I like it better than Disney. I did manage to break my drag link there. Apparently Jeep in their infinite knowledge, decided they should be made of thin-wall tubing instead of a solid bar. Geniuses! So now I have a one-off sleeved drag-link that should be virtually bulletproof LOL.

Yes, Slim just added a 2" body lift last week, and he has added tube fenders for even more clearance. Now he talking about switching to a 6" long-arm set up.

After you contacted me the other day I jumped on the site to see what was new and goin on and it was differant. I didnt take the time to re register at the time since my account was gone. It did look good though. I did have a good time wheelin and hangin around most everyone. I dont wanna name names or anything but there was one person that pretty much caused me to stop hanging around.

Ive heard a lot of good things about clayton. I personally like "logging trails" more than just rocks. When I was sationed in Va. I wheeled the blue ridge mtns. a lot and all over N. carolina which is mostly trails. You gotta love crazy trail repairs though.

theres a few things i need to sort out - i need to upgrade the steering and brace the steering box... i plan on doing this with 1.5" 1/4" wall tubing and making my own add-on pieces for the steering nuckles to run a true crossover and Chevy 3/4 ton TRE's... then i need to relocate the track bar to match the new steering, and install a hack-n-tap and get a front driveshaft installed in the rear.... and probably an Aussie for the front. I want to go with an ARB in the rear, but the wallet says NO.

Is this in Tulsa? "Radiator Rock" looks very challenging! Would it be worth a special trip from OKC or maybe a side trip during a weekend at Disney?

Yes, I haven't been out there in several months. Some dudes got busted cooking meth out there and it ruined it for us wheelers. Last I heard it's "ok" to go back, but haven't since it's kinda old to me now. It's worth it if you wanna risk it. I've never been to Disney, we need to have a OSA wheeling trip!
