gismored, that's what this pistol started out as, see what you could do with yours :-) tha muzzle blast on that 243 was nasty but with this 7WSM pretty much just double the 243 and make sure there is nothing on you bench when you shoot it tends to move light stuff around LOL. Later,

You got a sweet setup for sure i wouldn't mind a 308 win. I haven't warmed up to the short mags yet.

Wasn't a huge fan of the short mags myself and well the jury is still out! I think an awesome round for the pistols would be a 260 or 7-08 I think those would cover about all your bases. Reason I went with the 7WSM is I like to shoot things way over there, 7mm has high BC bullets, enough horse power to push them fast enough to get out there, and the cart. OAL even with me stretching the COL I can still get the round into and out of the Striker short action.

We will see if I can get the velocity I'm looking for and if not this thing is shooting well might just have to learn to range targets better LOL. Later,

That little pistol is freaking cool to shoot! Doesn't hardly move at all but the blast is a little different story! It was hard to quit shooting.
