i must have dealt with a nicer class of OHP.

^^^Me too, many years ago, I got stopped for going 70 in a 55, the dark days of 55 mph limits, by OHP. The Trooper was so friendly and professional, he wrote me for 10 over, that on my way back to my bike, I waved and said have a nice day. Then I thought, as he drove off, ...WTF, I just got a ticket!!

A highway near you.
Well Im not sure whats up with a lot of these people weve hired lately...like the last 5 or 6 years or so. We used to be taught to be professional and polite to everyone...use Sir or Maam when talking to them and such. It seems a lot of the younger guys have forgot the polite part. Guess Im getting old, well I know I am but I can at least still be polite.

Thank you, but I must say I haven't been stopped in a long time, I actually drive the speed limit most, MOST, times, but I am old an retired and don't have to be anyplace in a hurry, and when I was working I got up earlier than necessary and got to work long before necessary. Now, Only times I was stopped by OHP, or local pd's they were always polite to the end. Just sayin' from an old fool who of course knows nothing.

Well, I didn't say anything but he could have impounded the car, called DHS to take the kids and left the adults at the nearest CumNGo to make their own way ...

That must be a special kind of store in OKC....

Most of the old hi-po's like you are damn good guys. I make a lot of their gear, so they usually are really nice. I've always wondered, when some of the young dumb ones are spouting imaginary laws, is it acceptable to have them get a supervisor on scene to straighten things out?

I get my tags in Pawhuska at the Osage tribal tax office and have never had to get an appointment- its first come first serve there like at state tag agencies. Weird.
