Great deer everyone!!!

It has been a long day. Had a great hunt and one of my best rifle seasons to date. Lots of deer, lots of rutting, and one deer that I am very happy with! No to mention a heck of a drag out. Sorry for all the pictures, but I couldn't help it.

This is a young lady at my church. I took her and her dad out to practice before youth season. She shot the .22 great and then fired 1 round from the .243, dead center, but said she was not shooting it again. I took my .22-250 over and she liked that. This is her with her first deer this morning. A bunch of people have shot their first deer with that rifle.

I've been waiting for you to post something! I was hoping it was going to be a forkhorn or spike. hahaha Good looking buck(s). Looks to have some mass to it. Think the buck you found was a road hunter victim or shot and lost?

He was about 500y from the road on the edge of the grass/creek bottom. His entire skeleton was there, minus the jaw bone, didn't see anything suspicious. I had one game cam pic of him the first week of september still in velvet.

Man, some really nice/big deer in here!

My 10yo son shot his first deer ever this year back during the youth rifle season with my AR15. It was 260 yards away and he got it on the 3rd shot. It was really windy that day as well, so he had to hold over several inches. He had about a 60 yard shot at a small buck a few days prior to getting the doe, but it was his first time hunting with me and first time ever being that close to the deer. I guess buck fever got the best of him and he was a little shaky and yanked the trigger and shot just under the buck. So anyway heres the pic of the doe he shot. Hopefully we will get him a buck in the next few days, going to try in the morning. Also, heres the buck I shot on opening day. Some of you probably already seen the video, but here it is for those that didnt, and a couple pic.

Great deer Guys!
I was lucky to get this guy this morning. He was at 286 yds on the range finder. His path would take him further away, so I took the shot with the .06. I thought I missed as the deer was in a wheat field, and the bullet hit the dirt way to my right behind him. Must have hit a rib, and deflected. he made 40 yds or so. 172 pounds.
