I found a few small rubs and a scrape Sunday. Some does showed up and went right for it, did their business then wandered off.
I have several brush blinds nearby. Later in the week I'll try and get some pic's and video if there is any action.

I saw ZERO deer at Lake Arcadia 10/31/2013 -> 11/03/2013. There were rougly 25 hunters out on their differrent zones this weekend and about 5 or 6 or 7 deer were taken over the four days. They usually expect double that number. All the deer, but one were taken at last light. Very little movement. Too much wind or something. It was a pretty long pitiful weekend. The only consolation is that I got to sleep in my own bed and that was 20 minutes from the lake.

One scape was made 12 feet in front of my blind under a licking branch on Thursday night and another scape was made Friday night about 30 yards away.

I live within walking distance of several of the Lake Arcadia hunt zones, I have never hunted there though. I will say that we used to see ALOT more deer in our area than we do now. Development and gated communities just keep popping up everywhere.

It appears to still be slow in my neck of the woods, also (creek county). Hunted Sunday night and saw a small buck who seemed to be on a mission and right at dark a doe on the wheat field. I hunted the evening hunt tonight and didn't see anything. There are few tracks around my place. I do believe things will start to get much better by the end of the week.

Passed on a decent doe tonight about 35 mins before dark. She was at 40 yds but there was a little brush in the lane. Felt a bit safer passing and I was hoping for a buck to show. He didn't keep the appointment. Didn't make it out until 1600 cause of work.... I think this weekend and beginning of next week should be rockin!!!

Every new development of houses I see that are being built makes me sad. That is hypocritical of me to say because the nighborhood I live in was solid Cross Timbers woods in 2000. That is just a coule miles South of the lake.

Saw 3 bucks and 5 does running towards timber in the bottom land north of Hwy 66 east of Pop's. One pretty good sized buck in the group.

Woke up at 5am to trees bending over in the backyard and 30+ wind gusts. Decided not to chance it. Wake back up to 15mph wind and a solid temperature for deer movement. Ugh. Guess I'll go out this evening. Don't know that going out now would do much good.

I am taking off at lunch. Going to sit from about 2PM on and then taking off all day tomorrow also. I stayed home from the wind also this morning. No reason to sit in my best stand when it is 20 foot in the air and rocks like a chair. and I usually don't see as much with a over 10mph wind.
