Consider the higher prices a tax for not being prepared....
Guys at work call this "stupid charges".
Still havent been able to bring myself to do it though.

Found a $7500 AR-10 on Armslist last night. Can this be the rip off of the week?

So let me get this straight, I guy sell a gun for $1,000 that a month ago was selling for $500 and he is wrong for doing that. We live in a supposedly free market economy which says the prices are set by the buyer not the seller. I say more power to them. Also, if supply dips and demand increases so does prices.
One poster mentioned what about when gas prices rise. The prices are set by speculators and is not necessarily controlled by the buyers or sellers, but an outside influence.
Saw a fellow local shooter on FB looking for glock17 mags... I have a bunch of em, so I offered em up at MSRP... To which he offered me three pmags for seven Glock factory mags. I kept my lol to myself and countered 3 used pmags per G17 mag (just to egg him on), and he let forth a string of obscenities that's probably still hovering over the tri-state area. A good time was had.
