I'm glad my dad didn't make a scene when I got punked on.

I enjoy the comments of sue, contact the media, and
call the police.

You really have no room for comment until you have lived this situation with a child.

I toughed my way through it without parental involvement also, but it was a very different time then.

Go spend some time in a school now, you will be shocked the crap that goes on...

I was literally a redhead step child.

I'm not that far removed. I'm 44 and have a 23 and 21 year old, not sure how much has changed. Daughter is going to grad school and son is at OU. They dealt with their ****.

Cool... you're free to come to my son's school and have a chat with the principal and let him know how this should be dealt with.

Geez, you guys are rough.
You're damned if you do - or damned if you don't.

Haha... this IS OSA, after all...

Personally, I think I did ok in that I didn't get myself thrown out of the school AGAIN. Controlling your temper when someone is hurting your kids and those tasked with their care not only won't do anything about it, but won't let the kid do anything about it, and won't let anyone else do anything about it is... difficult.

I'm sorry if my initial post came off wrong TR.
I guess I would tell the principal if my kid gets assaulted again, he can go chop suey on him if it happens again. Bullies don't like an easy target.

The principals in the hood public school I sent my kids to were pretty good and didn't take ****. It's a shame principal is so worried about keeping tuition than doing his job.

Cheers! I don't drink whiskey or scotch but have a cold beer to toast

My hat is off to you. You obviously have much better personal restraint than I do.

Well, like I said, I already was asked to leave by the previous principal last spring. This wasn't for yelling at her (as she accused me of doing), but of later calmly pointing out that she was yelling at me.

I guess you can yell (or raise your voice), but you can't point out their hypocrisy when they do the same? So anyways, I have decided to stay away from that place and not interact with these administrators at all. I've told my wife I think we need to pull him out of this school because I don't think they are as concerned with stopping bullying as they are with hurting the bully's feelings or tarnishing the school's image by admitting there is a problem, but she would ultimately be the one who would have to deal with getting him into another school or home-schooling him, so for now, we are kind of at a holding point and seeing if anything else happens. And she thinks because of his personality he would not do well with home-schooling, he needs the daily interaction with other kids.
