Problem I have is that upon evaluating my “stacks” a couple weekends ago, I realized that I need to reinforce my shelves. The one holding my 45acp in particular has pulled away from the wall and cracked the sheetrock.
A fella can never have too much 45ACP ammo.
That’s why my free-standing ammo shelves are made out of 2x4’s.
One box per person is more than enough!!! You just shoot 2 shots in the air from your old double barrel and that's all the ammo needed!!

Honestly, if you haven't been stacking for the last 15 years, you are way behind.
Like land prices, ammo will continue to go up. I can't tell you how many times I wish I had bought more milsurp ammo back in the 90's when it really was cheap. Same goes for land, I wish I had bought more back in the 90's.
Back when Mashburn Arms had Norincos for 49.95 and 1000rnd case of ammo for $19.99, a guy I know bought a pallet of each for $29.95 and $9.99. Still has the majority of them in their original cosmoline coated packages.
