You make an offer to buy a gun....no.. you actually send an "I'll take it". Seller begins discussions of a meet to exchange money for gun. Silly me, I take that as an agreement to exchange my money for the other member's gun. Seller soon sends an "I'll get back with you". Buyer (me) soon sees a "its gone" post in the classifieds. But guess what, its not gone to me. Oh well. Didn't see that one coming. Pissing and moaning over.

I posted an "I'll take it" on a Classified at FULL PRICE. Got told that the gun wasn't even in his possession (Coming in the mail) and that when it came in he was going to give a couple guys first "dibs" even though it was being bumped as still available.

I finally just said "forget it" and then saw it get bumped multiple times after that...

I just don't get some people.

Unfortunately there is little that can be done.

A ban is useless. Anybody who does business that way won't think twice about creating a new account.

To be fair, selling crap online is a pain in the ass. Buyers fall out too, I take the policy of whoever gets money to me first. If you're closer and you can meet me that night then I'd much rather have cash in hand. It's a recession out there.
