It seems like every time I go to "the" walmart or academy the ammo guys are always such Richards. I know this to be true especially lately. I understand they get tired of being asked the same thing 1000 times a day but guess what, it's your job!! If you have a problem with it, go back to the junior college you dropped out of and get a job that pays more than $7 so you won't be so bitter and hateful. I'm a younger guy in my twenties and i'm tired of being treated like dirt by these guys for no other reason than they don't want to be bothered. It's ridiculous when I call to ask about ammo quantities and get hung up on by 5/12 places I call after some sarcastic or short snappy answer. These guys feel such an entitlement, do they not realize they are only king of their little counter? It's hard to keep wanting to support local businesses that I won't name as well as the big stores when such prejudices exist bases on I'm assuming age in person and frustration over the phone. If this applies to anyone reading PLEASE be more curtious when dealing with the guy who makes sure you keep your crappy little job of being the local mall ninja expert. We have careers, not jobs; if we knew you didn't have ammo in stock we wouldn't waste our own time calling or showing up, much less yours. But we don't know, so stop acting like we are an inconvinience to you and your secret plethora of walmart stock knowledge.

Just my .02

Sigh..

Yada yada yada... You'll be mad for a while, but you'll go back to the pen like a good little lamb... Because the decent and ethical, deserving local business owner is $0.67 higher on a box of ammo. We are no longer about principals, we are about price

Paying higher prices, paying more taxes, it just makes us feel better about ourselves.

I was geeted that way at a Wal-mart yesterday. I thought the worker sucked. Its his job. I went down the street to Atwoods looking for some 22cal. That worker was very helpful. Counted how many boxes and brands they had and told me. Very good help. Two thumbs up for him. Needless to say I took all they had left whitch was 37 boxes at $1.99 each.

I have a college degree and many of my fellow workers at Academy have college degrees but are working for further education or work multiple jobs. The only gun knowledge we get is what we walk in with and some training on the process of filling out the paperwork. Please realize that maybe you treating the service people as uneducated high school dropouts probably earned you the treatment you receive. Now some of us walked in with a decent amount of info but some have not. Be a respectful gun or hunting advocate and teach them what you need so that they know for the next guy. I always thought that if you are responsible enough to have a gun or take a life of a creature you also have the ability to demonstrate patience and courtesy.

Patience... Ain't nobody got time for that.

I'm usually the patient guy, behind the impatient yelling idiot, calmly declaring the idiot the upmost vulgarities in my extensive vocabulary.
