Tooth ache

Ive never had a tooth ache in my entire , until yesterday. Good golly miss Molly does it hurt. I started taking ibuprofen yesterday but it has barely touched the pain. Does anyone have a home remedy for the pain?

OraGel 4x pain gel. Put some on a Qtip and hold against the base of the offending tooth. The 4x Gel numbs my whole face if I get too much. If there is a cavity or broken hole in the tooth dental repair bondo. Clean and dry the area as good as you can. Roll up a small piece and pack the hole. I got by over 6 months until I had repair money with a broken tooth that way. Change out the plug every 2-3 days. A baby aspìrin ground up and make a paste and put around the base if the tooth can help.

Anti biotic should help. I take pain meds daily and it wouldnt touch a tooth pain. Thats a bad pain.

Get into a weekend on call dentist or doc in the box for some antibiotics. Tooth infections can go into the brain, I've seen it before unfortunately. They also might be able to do something for the pain until you can get into a dentist on Monday.

I have a dentist appointment at the end of the month for a mouth guard for a mild case of sleep apnea. I don't think I can make it that long. I'll call them when I get back into town in the middle of the week.

No kidding. I've NEVER had anything hurt as bad as an abscessed tooth. Ugh ...

I wouldn't wait that long (middle of the week) if I were you, but you have to make that decision for yourself.

Man, you are a tougher man than me if you can actually wait that long. I gotta second getting some antibiotics started at least. Infection makes it impossible for a dentist to get you numb. Ask me how I know ...
