That Diamondback Sidekick is pretty cool.
It looks like the old High Standard “Double Nine”.

Kind of. It has more of the styling of a Single Action Army though. I find the feel and weight to be similar to the Ruger Wrangler. But with the more modern wheel gun features.

Ruger Wrangler, Single Six, Mk, SP101 will git r done and not let you down.
S&W, Colt, Taurus revolver
Browning Buckmark or 1911-22
Colt Woodsman, ACE
H&R

Any will get the job done. Get what you LIKE.

The only 2 I don't recommend are:
Glock, unless you shoot Glocks
Heritage, price point is good, but the 5
I have bought made buckshot look like precision shooting. Sold them quickly.

Heritage rough rider I had was not accurate either but the Ruger Wrangler was very accurate.

That Ruger Wrangler was $179 the other day at Academy.
On sale of course.

I almost got one.
I have a .308 rifle I use for vermin plinking reduced load 664 fps 100gr.
No need to resize cases either.
You can reload it with a stick a nail and a rock if that is all you had.

Ruger MK IV Lite would be my vote I have the MK III version and love it. The MK IV are easier to break down for cleaning. The threaded barrel is nice and mine pretty much only gets shot with my suppressor.

I'd get one of the Ruger MK series......the newer / current production guns are a lot easier to take down and put back together.

I've got two MKI's that I bought new in Wichita back in 76'.......both blue and one has a 6" very slightly tapered barrel with adjustable sights and the other is the target model with adjustable sights and a 6 7/8" untapered barrel.

Granted they haven't been shot all that much but I've never had a bit of trouble with them.

6 7/8".

I'm glad you mentioned this because I wasn't sure between the ruger wrangler and the heritage which was better.
