Media Noche. It's a Cuban on a sweet egg roll instead of the regular Cuban bread. When I make them at the house I use King's Hawaiian bread as a substitute to the real deal. I also smoke my mojo pork instead of roasting it.
Gotta give Honorable mention to the BLATMy favorite is hard to choose - love a blt with heavy mayo and lots of bacon- with my home-grown tomatoes had several lately- I'm a club fan but that could be turkey/chicken/ham or bologna/salami with lots of lettuce- tomato- onion and mayo. we like to do ham and Swiss sliders with a mustard sauce made with honey, olive oil, poppy seed and Dijon mustard- -chicken or tuna salad is good sometimes. Back when we just started out in 76- I had an hour for lunch and would run home and make whatever we had. I got home one day and put mayo on my bread- peeled the plastic off 2 slices of American cheese and put on each side- put some lettuce on it and went to grab lunch meat and there was none. I grabbed another piece of cheese and had a cheese sandwich for lunch. Kinda sad a butcher runs out of lunch meat though.
