What is sovereign citizen?
Google defines it as “a member of a political movement of people who oppose taxation, question the legitimacy of government, and believe that they are not subject to the law.”
A simpler definition would be a group of idiots that think they are above the law and have a law degree from YouTube.

I was thinking along those lines but wasn’t sure. I’ve heard it go around a few times and I just got done looking it up and then saw you answer. Thanks for the response

Recently got a ticket in a well known speed trap so thats pretty much on me, but its the first ticket I've had in over 40 yrs! I've had MANY verbal and even a couple written warnings though. Even got a warning from a OK State Trooper and those guys start out pissed. Why? Because when I get pulled over I kiss *** like I'm talking to Barney Fife and Thelma Lou just left him with blue balls once again. I've avoided THOUSANDS of dollars in tickets by being polite, friendly, and cooperative. Theres a time to make a stand but every bump is not a hill to die on. Use common sense, it will get you much farther than thorough knowledge of the law when dealing with most cops.

Back to the real world on this thread.

Not sure if it was answered.

Oklahoma is not a must show ID state. From my research in the past, if you are operating any type vehicle which as automobile, bicycle, riding lawnmower in the street you have to show an ID. If you are walking in a public place and no suspected of a crime, then no you do not have a show an ID.

The issue with the original post is bike has to follow traffic law when riding in the street. Stopping at stop signs and lights. Having lights at night. Sounds like the bike rider commuted a crime, no matter how minor, so has to show an ID.

This post is not legal advice.
