Wondering what the bass anglers think is their best bass fishing lure?

I found the Gary Yamamoto Senko soft plastic worms back in early spring and since then I don't "go fishing" any more, I "go catching". What is your favorite lure?

Growing up a pond fisherman.......... top water mouse for the lily pads...........8" green salamander for the spawn and either a zara spook or a yellow buzz bait for the hot summer evenings with zero wind.

I'm pretty much a one trick pony, and not a good angler, but I always throw a 6-8 inch junebug lizard. Works great on top of weeds or right at the bank during spawn. Topwater frog for lillypads.

If I had to go fishing and could only take a single lure, probably a Mepps Aglia, or similar rooster tail. Rebel Crickhopper has always been a good one in yellow or firetiger in ponds. Work it irregularly like a grasshopper swims and almost always catch some nice bass.
