Damn. I just sell the gun. If you act like a thug when I call you or give me the creeps I will just tell ya.
I usually bring a friend and 2+ guns and a PLAN. I park in a manner which would benefit me depending on scenario.
I never do a bill of sale, and prolly never will. It's just a gun...not a ****ing nuke or something.

You are very correct, thats why I will only call in the 10-28 on guns that I intend to purchase.

It sounds like you are LEO. Are you using police resources, paid for by the taxpayers, to do your personal business? Maybe this is a common practice, but it sounds unethical to me. Am I missing something?

You call in the vehicle registration on a gun? Lol (psst....it`s 10-29 and yes I`m a smartass) :contract:

All my OSA transactions have been great with a few exception....but even the bad ones here are nothing compared to Armslist. I wont sell/buy anything on there anymore.

I make sure and check the feedback/post count of the person before I agree on a deal. I wont deal with people that have zero posts unless they meet me here in town so I dont waste time if they dont show or try to haggle on the price last second....I hate that.

Talk a little before, check feedback, then meetup, inspect, exchange money, shake hands and leave. Maybe bs a little. If anyone wants to record info off of my license, I'm going to tell them no thanks and leave. Not that I have anything to hide, but I don't feel comfortable with numerous people having the info required to do damage to my identity just lying around. If I wanted to fill out paperwork I'd buy from a dealer.

I have also had a gun that belonged to me used in a homicide and I am not sure what the big deal was for the other member that mentioned it, but for me it wasn't really much of an issue. The Osbi contacted me, came an asked me a few questions, that was it. About a year later I actually got a call back from them saying I could come and pick it up since the previous owner was going away.

3) I ask for an ID to make sure the individual I'm selling the firearm is of age to purchase said firearm (21 for handguns and 18 on all other firearms).

SIDE NOTE: One only needs to be 18 to purchase a handgun as long as both parties are private individuals and residents of the same state. Common misunderstanding
