Academy and AR's, mags, and ammo!

81st and highway 169 in Tulsa still has 20 federal 5.56 boxes ($8.99) and about 20 boxes of American Eagle 5.56 tracers($12.99). I purchased last 9mm box at 3:15pm.

Exactly. 15+ miles for 20 rounds? I have decided to stick with Walmart these days. At least 3 boxes (60 rounds) makes it a worthwhile trip and I can pick up some necessities there.

I waited the other morning and the thing your not figuring is that your 1 box per caliber could happen to be a 640 round spam can of 7.62's like I got or a bulk pack of Hornady 5.56 in the plastic ammo can like they had the week before.

I stoped by there today to get a niple extractor and a nipple, (no Jokes please lol) I saw all the rounds that most of you are after except 22LR. Many of you are not happy about this, but I am happy they are limiting how many boxes you can purchase. That stops the resale of ammo at gun shows, hording, and lets people that want to go out for the weekend and shoot have some ammo too.

I absolutely agreed with you about the ammo for the average Joe but I wish Walmart and Academy would have racks of ARs for sale so the idiot buyers would not have to pay $2k for a CMMG AR at the "panic" gunshow.

Agree. Where are all of the new production rifles going? Walmarts around here say they havent recieved any in three weeks and i hear academy is still selling what was warehoused.

Same thing happened to me but I grabbed a tuna can at 10:00 AM.
