Have any of you put a recoil buffer into your 10/22? I have put one in all them that are in my household. They do very little as far as function of the gun but they do seem to smooth out the action when fired.
I was on rim fire central several years ago and one of the forum members was making and selling them. I wanted to try making my own too. I tried several different materials and while looking at the ones that guy was making I realized what he was using.
It looked just like the Eagle belting that we used in the factory I worked in. I tried a piece and that was it. I posted what I discovered on that forum and it seemed like several members were kinda pissed that I had given away a secret.
The factory closed and I no longer work there but I do have some of the belting material and I would be willing to share it.
