Panda Grill in Yukon is on my short list

Agreed, since moving here a bit over a year ago, we have enjoyed their burgers.

In a previous life I flew professionally and have traveled to all 50 States (or 54 according to Hussain Obama), as well as every province North of us, and many countries South and East of us. With that said, I have tried a LOT of different Burgers out there, and In-And-Out, as well as Five Guys absolutely DO NOT live up to the hype (or cost).

For chains, What-A-Burger, Wendy's, and Backyard Burgers are all good, especially Backyard. I know they cook them on a grill, but the flavoring tastes like it came off a real chracoal grill.

I'll conclude with 99% of all the local Ma and Pa, hole in the road, greasy spoon burger joints I have tried have all been really good to top notch, even if they cost a bit more than a chain, they are usually worth it for the food and experience.

Side note: One trick I have learned via my travels is the "Parking Lot Test." If its meal time and the parking lot is empty, pass that joint up and go to the next one. If the locals won't eat there, neither should you!

I like boomerang..... today is 1/2 price burgers. Good old fashion burgers.

Okay... Is that some kind of secret that you have to know the special handshake for cause around here they just look at me funny when I ask about it.

I tried 5 guys a few years back because I did a deal with someone from here and there was one close to their house.

It was like $14 and I was not impressed at all. I left hungry and felt cheated on my burger.

The only thing good about it was the sugar free Barq's from the fancy soda machine.

I also tried that smashed up burger place once. I did not really care for it either.

I have a few friends and a sister that bragged about how good they are. I should have known better because all of them have more money than sense and judge a place by how famous they are. None of them would be caught dead at a Sonic, Burger King, Johnnies, etc. If it is not high dollar it is crap to them. Funny thing is, they are all broke.

Yeppers...

...the "Parking Lot Test" is also one I use. Used to drive trucks, but by the same token, we've been pretty much travelers even without being a professional driver.

Every Monday is half price burger day. We get them every Monday Claremore or Owasso depending if I have to take my mom to the hospital/doctors It’s been that way for years. It’s the Monday special, Friday is all you can eat catfish day and that’s rather good too.
