All the machine work. And they're made from an extrusion, which is expensive initially. If one doesn't need the integral top rail then you can cut that cost in half.

I will say that we are down to 1 or 2 of the Anderson barrels, so that probably won't work for everyone, but we have a nitrided 16" 223 Wylde lightweight profile with mid-lenght gas system that is very popular at $99.
If you're interested in building a rifle, I strongly urge you to jump on board with Doc's build party. Those who are worried about building the upper, don't sweat it, the upper is actually easier to assemble than a lower.
If you guys want to put together a package, we'll see what we can do to help out on a "group buy" type of discount, it won't be huge because prices are already depressed, but it will be something.

I woulda pulled the trigger on at least the barrels last night had I known. ****. You got more coming in anytime? Inventory is disappearing as you add them to your cart. Crazy, insane sells right now. I have been begging Anderson to cut us off another 50-100 barrels at that price, but they are too interested right now, they're working long shifts just trying to keep up with high demand parts.
We have uppers, we're holding some back for local sales. Due to sells, we've shorted our locals the last couple of weeks and we want to be able to take care of you guys.
I'll be stopping by tomorrow. I hope to get at least a lower.
Ok, so it looks like a lot of folks are in for the 17th of January, Sunday. It'll be in Tulsa, I'll post a new thread a week or two beforehand. Pretty sure I'll be able to bring parts for 3 complete rifle builds, so feel free to come and join in even if you don't have your parts and such yet... but I still get to take mine home when they're done!
