i just got up to tend to a crock pot full of beans. im ready let it snow. going to make cornbread and chicken and dumplins in the morning. enough to keep me just fine.

The weather last night said the rain would be turning to snow before noon today, current radar shows the rain just west of us but it's still dry here.

As everyone knows all the lakes are really low and we need the moisture bad.......I'd much rather have the rain over the snow though.

I like how 3-6 inches of snow is a blizzard lol should hear the stories from my dad about growing up in North Dakota

they are talking about NW Oklahoma. At one point yesterday they were calling for 12-14" of snow in the Woodward area with drifts of 4-6'. A few days ago that area got 6-8" while OKC hardly got anything.

According to the NWS, a blizzard is defined by wind speeds and visibility, not by the amount of snowfall:
Blizzard
(abbrev. BLZD)- A blizzard means that the following conditions are expected to prevail for a period of 3 hours or longer:
*Sustained wind or frequent gusts to 35 miles an hour or greater; and
*Considerable falling and/or blowing snow (i.e., reducing visibility frequently to less than ¼ mile)
