The museums are excellent...don't forget the field museum, the planetarium, the aquarium, Soldier field, Wrigley.
Ask the locals for recommendation on eats.

Yep! So good.

I didn't get to try Gino's East, but I have had Giordano's and it was excellent. I believe Gino's uses a cornmeal crust where Giordano's uses a typical dough.

Here's our Giordano's pizza:

We stayed in the Best Western Hawthorne Terrace in "Wrigleyville" (northside). It was a very liberal part of town (think gay-friendly, rainbow flags, etc), but everything was clean, the people were super nice and we didn't feel like we should worry about being mugged, even when we were out at 2,3,4 AM. If you're still considering hotel choices and you're driving in, this hotel has a 24-hour secured parking garage right next door.

The Wiener Circle was great. Get a traditional Chicago Dog. Goes great with a beer, but you don't drink.

Even if you hate the Cubs or even baseball, definitely check out Wrigley. There's not much too see from the outside, but there are still plenty of spots to view the field. Such a great stadium.

We spent the weekend watching the Cubs get their first sweep of the 2011 season (over the Astros):

Chicago is a great city to visit, but I couldn't or wouldn't ever live there.

Go visit the pawnshop on hardcore pawn chicago. Its across the street from the jail.
