Don’t beat yourself up. You were doing what you thought best for Louie and deferred to what should have been good advice from a veterinarian.

Very sorry for losing you buddy, and thanks for posting. Our last dog was on Cytopoint. He also had multiple health issues so I don't know if it had anything to do with his death. Our new dog is starting to have scratching problems and have been considering putting her on it. Not gonna happen now.
If you don't mind, PM to me the name of the vet office so I don't take my dog there!
I will be paying them a visit to have a discussion on Monday. Depending on how they handle things I “may” post which Vet. Note that we have been seeing this vet for 4 years and have, up until now had an exceptional experience. They have in fact saved the lives of two of our other dogs.
