Love Appleton Estate. That was the rum of choice for a while but mostly we drink Sailor Jerry now. Its tasty stuff for being relatively inexpensive. I mix it with Diet Dr Pepper. We call it Dr Jerry. You have to watch Dr. Jerry though. He acts like he is your friend and then gives you a 96 proof punch in the teeth.
If we are making Mojitos then Bacardi light or Appleton white.

We also have some Pyrat. Its very different and maybe intersting. Not something I want to drink much of. Mainly as has been said its a cool bottle.

No real favorite rum fo me. Have bought several bottles of Havana Club Cuban rum and didn't like it.
**Not really a favorite...but I have partaken of Malibu rum &Coke. This is only at Kinder,La. Biloxi,Miss. or Las Vegas...all casino towns.
I have found out I can drink Malibu rum &Coke all night or longer and don't have a hangover nor headache.
I usually have the cocktail server bring me two or three when at a time at the blackjack table. At the poker table, I usually get a tray on wheels with several of these set up.
Not rum, but sometimes I mix it up Jack &Coke or Malibu & Rum. Usually after the sever has brought me 9-12, of these all she does is ask if I need more...not what I want.

What is in Spiced Rum that isnt in white rum that can cause severe allergies? I can drink white rum all day long, as soon as spiced rum hits my stomach, I reject it immediately and then my throat gets itchy and starts closing up.
I was told it was a cane sugar allergy, but I don't buy that.
