According to the article, they need to present "clear and convincing" evidence of need to keep the guns. What lower standard did they need to take them??? "A strong suspicion"? "A concerning rumor"?
Sounds like the guy had some serious mental issues.
I went out and about my 10/22 earlier and I heard some kids playing across the creek around the house that I think called the cops. I fired a couple of shots and listened and I heard one of them say “he’s doing it again!” So I guess I know for sure who it was. So I kept on shooting and I could here the kids yelling “shut up” and I also heard one say “this isn’t a range”. When he said that I did a mag dump. Little turds need an attitude adjustment. But I doubt that will happen with parents like theirs. Also when I got done I was in the back picking up dog dump and I heard loud gun shots coming from the woods north of where I shoot. So it don’t matter if it’s me or not someone is always shooting out here. Ah the beauty of the country. God bless America!!
Tony those kids need education!! The parents need kicked in the seat of the pants!!
Maybe it is time to go all Dlmcm and knock on the door and offer to educate!! Cant hurt and done right may bring some new blood into the fold!!

Sounds to me that it's a good time to have a good ol boy meet up at your place. A few pickups with rednecks and AR's piling out will be a good lesson for the kids. Probably drive them inside where they obviously belong since they are so sensitive.
