I have a buddy with similar neighbors outside Ponca City. After the sheriff's paid him a visit, and reaffirmed he was fine to shoot on his property, he bought a small black powder cannon. It doesn't shoot projectiles, but it makes a hell of a racket. He's 'that' neighbor.

LOL, that would be a good one. Otherwise invite a bunch of people over and we can get fifteen or twenty of us all doing mag dumps.

Pretty much what I did the first time the neighbor called on me.
Called a buddy and we shot 200 rounds of 12 ga on some clays much closer to her house while still on my property that runs 50 yards from her house vs the 300 + yards where my berm is.
Sheriff came up the road, and observed, but left.
One of the GW's that came up kind of gave me a lecture about being nice so she would convert to a 2A lover, and although I like the heck out of him, had to call him on the BS as he hasn't had the interaction with the old hag that I have, and her family agrees with the hag assessment.
I'm That Guy as well.

Unfortunately, this is the kind of activity that works against us. Of course you should be able to shoot on your property, and you are within the law, and on and on and on. But it might be an easier life if you take your shooting to an established range for awhile. Let whoever it is cool off or move away from you. No need to be the neighborhood problem child.
I am not a about to go pay money to shoot when I can do it in my backyard. It IS my right and I will keep doing it. I don’t care if I’m a problem to my neighbors. Of course I want to get along with them but it isn’t me that is causing the problem. It is then. They are the one that called the police not me. Like I said, if they don’t like me shooting they can either shut up and deal with it or move. I specifically bought this house because of the ability to shoot. I can guarantee you this, when the cop lived here before me, this person didn’t call the cops on them. But they know I am not a cop so they call them on me.

Just because we can doesn't mean we should. We have so much working against us right now, we need to be a little smarter how we respond to the element of society that doesn't see things the way we do. This isn't going to be won by bowing our backs and calling names.

So what your saying is we should give in to the anti gunners? That’s what it sounds like to me. Well your free to have your opinion just like in free to think it is the dumbest opinion on earth. Besides, how is me doing NOTHING wrong make me the bad guy in all of this? My neighbor could have came over and spoke to me. I am a really easy going guy. And as I have said before, I am also a Christian. Yes I make mistakes. But had they have came over and talked to me I would have been a lot nicer about the situation. But they went straight for the police. I know why they called them. They thought I would either get in trouble and wouldn’t be able to shoot anymore or that it would scare me enough that I wouldn’t do it anymore. Well they were wrong on both accounts. So if you ever have a neighbor call the police on you for using a riding lawnmower then you better start using one of those old school “chippers” from the 50’s. After all, you don’t want to upset your pansy neighbor.
