Time is going to run out again this year...pretty obvious. We will get the whole "we tried, but ran out of time" excuse again.
And will continue to get that excuse as long as it works. There's some people who need to look and see who helped bog this down and think about trying to get rid of these slugs. But unfortunately they'll probably get re-elected again because nobody cares. I've watched my guys through all this mess and they've held true. Others don't seem concerned by all appearances.
I think if nothing passes this year, we need to get RINOs out of office....basically throw the bums out.
If this means voting DEMOCRAT temporarily, I will do that if i have to, though i'd MUCH rather vote libertarian or any other party than democrat OR republican.
I don't think the dems voted in will have any ability to get legislation passed that will affect our 2A rights, and it will mean a fresh crop of republicans in a few years.

In order to do that, you'd need to take control of the local party offices and kick the RINO's out at that level. If not, they'll just run more RINO's masquerading as conservatives next time around.
Start by throwing Russell out of the Senate. He was the one who derailed HB2522 a few weeks ago.

That's what he told me when I complained to him. He said feel free to run for my seat.
While we are at it, throw Marian Cooksey out of the House. She voted against HB2522 and never would give me a straight answer as to why. All I could get for a response was a bunch of garbage about voting her conscience and how she had supported other 2A causes - never got a reason for being against open carry, even after pointing out that she was not answering my question.
