This question has probably been posted before, if so, just go with it.

"IF", for some reason, you could have ONLY ONE handgun, what would it be??

It has to be a gun you own, or have owned.
(preferably not a duty weapon).
Not talking about the zompocolypse.
This is just an academic exercise, everyone gets to have an opinion. There is no right or wrong answer, I'd just like to know what others think.

I'll go first.
Mine is my trusty little S&W mod 36 in 38 special. I have history with it and trust it.

Though I usually carry either a 9mm or a .38, if I could only have one handgun it would be my SP101 in .357mag.

I would go old school with a revolver,,,
It would have to be Stella,,,
My S&W Model 15.

Or maybe it would be Morgana,,,
My S&W Model 67.

Same gun essentially,,,
In soul-less steel.

I own several high-dollar semi's,,,
But except for them having higher capacity,,,
None have any real advantages over those revolvers.

Easy one. I own it now. 4" S&W model 686. I can't think of a reason I'd select another gun over it.

Versatility. Durability. I'd have to stick with my Glock 22, although I might want the .45 version if I could. Nothing wrong with the .40, though, except that it's not .45.


And this is from a guy who loves his 2 1911s.
