I had it Tuesday and I had not been anywhere. I had it so bad I was doing the "twirlies" sitting on the throne and puking into a trash bag. All my puking was the dry heaves and my stomach was being stabbed by a red hot poker. I never had a fever or aches and pains, just nausea and bad stomach pains.
I took my pain meds and nausea pills but threw them up within a few minutes. I couldn't eat anything for two days afterward or I would get nauseated again.

Yup, and new Covid going around at the same time, several nurses are out with one or the other where the wife works.
Short answer, yes. I know two people who've had it recently. One was told by a doctor that some kind of stomach bug was going around.
I called a friend a couple of days ago because his business was closed early and he said he and all of his help were sick. I'm guessing maybe the same bug. I sure don't want it. I've got a 4inch surgery cut down the middle of my stomach that I'm trying to heal up from.
