"We" do not curse in front of kids ... well, at least not if they are not mine ... THAT is a big no-no ... Nor do we curse in front of people we are positive it will offend ... (like my now uber-religious church lady friend ... God bless her ... :) )

However, you guys ... you all are on your own ... :wink2:

No, no, no ... YOU are not the kind of loudmouth JB is talking about ... He's talking about the OBNOXIOUS kind ... You know ... well, you might not since you are hard of hearing ... GC is too ... He can NEVER hear the things I hear going on in a restaurant ... It's embarrassing sometimes ... If people only knew what all those tables of strangers actually thought of them when they are trying so hard to be noticed because they are "important" ...

It sucks really bad, it's embarrassing for friends and family. And it's frustrating because everything around you is a big mass of indiscriminate noise and you have to ask people you're having conversations with to keep speaking up.

Along time ago when i wasn't sweet like i am now i had a disagreement with a man and let a cuss word slip in front of his wife, he said don't you ever speak that way infront of my wife so i punched him in the eye and he said f@#k that hurt. I guess he was converted to my way of thinking

Tinnitus and deaf are a tough combination. Wife is constantly telling me to hold it down.

Joke about cell phones.

Guy in restaurant talking to wife real loud. Lady gets tired of listening to him. Goes over leans down next to his head and say. "Honey hurry up with the conversation and come back to bed.":laugh6:

I have a potty mouth, but try and curb it around women and kids. I don't always make it.

I feel ya! (And I meant it was embarrassing for the ******* loudmouths -- not the folks with someone who is deaf or hard of hearing.) I have to repeat everything I say to GC three times, then, on the third (and loudest) time I say it he says to me " Well, you don't have to yell at me!" :lookaroun You are correct, it is hard. But I bet those who love you don't mind one bit. I'd yell at GC all day long if that's what it took ... :wink2:
