I can't stand them being vulgar and cussing in front of women. I have no problem telling someone to watch their mouths. They may not respect the women in their lives, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna hear it.

I am right there with you as far as how u feel, BUT, don't forget if you do that, and the guy follows you outside, and for whatever reason you wind up having to shoot him, you are going to prison...Rules in the CCW class say you must do anything and everything to avoid confrontation and be ultra-passive if you are armed...because otherwise, you have provoked a guy knowing that he might act on it and you have then been irresponsible as a weapon holder. That is my understanding...you can't even give someone the bird in traffic if you have a gun with you because that can be used against you late if it is found out.

My wife and I went to a TGIFridays a couple of months ago. I never will forget it. A couple of tables over a man was talking loudly to a little girl. He was telling her what a POS her mother was, we could here it all the way over at our table. My wife and I coming from divorced homes were astonished. I had to hold my wife back from jumping over the tables and kicking his a......

It sucks really bad, it's embarrassing for friends and family. And it's frustrating because everything around you is a big mass of indiscriminate noise and you have to ask people you're having conversations with to keep speaking up.

I'm in the same boat. I finally got assistance, and it helps somewhat.

The things I see interfere more with my four star dining experience that the things I hear.
Women smelling their babies diapers when they think nobody's looking. Those are the things that disturb me most.
Those are the things that haunt my dreams.

I just don't give a f@wk!!!
If you don't want to hear me.... Go somewhere else

Don't be surprised if you get a boot in the ass then. There are appropriate restaurants in which to show your rear, a nice one or a family one isn't the place. A titty bar or sports bar, you're home free.

If you just look at them and just start talking loudly towards them they usually get it. It's a favorite tactic of mine. I had to do it in a really nice restaurant with the Mrs once.

Bro, I'm not going to shoot anyone over something like that. Having or not having a gun shouldn't impact your sense of wrong and right. In the words of my namesake, "There's more to being a man, than handling a gun. Worse case, I take an ass whipping. I'm no cherry to that, but I'll say this.....a wound to the body heals, a wound to your spirit may not. And it's not much of a man who would just let some low life SOB talk that way in front of a woman.

I agree that it's not OK to curse in certain places or in front of certain people. What gets me are the people who get completely full tilt offended when they hear a relatively benign off color word, like "a$$" or "turd". I had an impound customer start to chew my butt when she overheard me use the word "a$$" talking to one of my drivers. I politely listened to her rant for a few, then I told her not very politely that I wasn't really interested in getting lectured on how to act by someone who just got arrested and their car impounded for DUI. She didn't say another word.

Morality police p!$$ me off.
