just get some flour and salt and make your own?
Never really thought of that. Apparently good ramen noodles are made with some baking soda to help with consistency, but yeah, super simple and cheap. According to my guesstimating and the recipe I’m looking at requires eggs too, but it would be about $10 for 80 servings.

Looks like I should invest in a pasta cutter. I’ve wanted one for a while anyways.

Is ramen still dirt cheap, or has it gone up in price like everything else? I haven’t bought any for around 30 years.
Depends on the ramen. Cheapo Maruchan is still really college kid/barracks cheap. Good Korean ramyun (not ramen) is gonna be a little more spendy but can actually be a meal. The instant is for the kids who don’t wanna boil water. The regular is the best. Cut up some green onions and crack a couple eggs in it.
Don’t get sissy ramyun either, get Shin or Neoguri.
