He'd (we'd) rather get something on the books, signed into law, that can be improved on another day than to try to get everything at one time and fail. Some of the bills passed yesterday do just that--correct or improve upon laws already enacted. As legislators see that the first law does what it's supposed to they become more accepting of expanding the law to where we want it to go.
Now if the governor would repeal the state of emergency we would really be in business
Trump tried that on the illegal alien sanctuary cities and states and the courts said no. I think the 2A states could judge shop and find a sympathetic judge that would do t5he same for 2A.
You nailed it. Activists Judges ruled against Trump, because it went against their base. Those same Judges hate the idea of personal freedom and the Second Amendment. They will rule immediately that ALL "Second Amendment Sanctuary States" are illegal, therefore null and void and allow POTUS to withhold funds and use force until we are brought to heel.
How long do you think ANY of our State "representatives" will hold out once Uncle Sugar's tap is closed? Or, more probable, those that do hold out will be removed from office and replaced with those that are more malleable.

Which is why they need to do like the Democrats and judge shop. Fight fire with fire. Biden and cronies will try to cut off funds, OK sues in a friendly judges court and wins. Battle it out in appeals.
We'd be better off to say screw y'all, and live without funds. And quit paying into the system.
