Ok, its going out this weekend guys, and to make it worse, Im gonna put a slide fire stock on it too!

Uncle, its a slant cut receiver, unfortunately, but still a beauty.

(And yes, I do realize that the above two comments are counter to the conventional internet wisdom of "can't put the slidefire on a mak90 because the Chinese receiver is thicker" or "cant uses a slide fire on a slant cut receiver" However, I can tell you that in the real world, it attaches just fine. Yes, you can see the cut in the receiver, so its not as 'pretty' but I see no way that function will be impaired.)

Ironwood designs makes some great looking stock sets for the slant cut receivers since you have removed the thumb hole stock and made the 922r compliant changes to the mak, if you are so inclined.

Thanks, I have looked at their site before but never purchased from them. I am trying to get 922r satisfied without messing with the trigger, so stock set is a good compliance part. But its been awhile since I looked at 922, so I need to refresh myself which parts count and which dont. I know piston does, but not sure if safety lever does, etc.

Edit: it looks like that I am ok with swapping the furniture out and using it with US magazines for now.
