You say NO that people that make more money and would pay a bigger percentage get no greater benefit from the Fed. Government for their extra $$$ paid?

I disagree.

People that pay more taxes make more money, obviously. How do they do that? They use more government resourses to make that money than I do.

Wal-Mart absolutely gets more benefit from say roads, bridges, Hwy's, or any other items of federal tax expenditure than I do.

The Waltons make more money (God Bless them for being born to Sam, no fault of theirs) from using government resources than I do.

Not hating them for making more money and using more resources, just stating a fact. If I owned a QT, Id definitely get more benefit from fed. taxes than customers that patronized my store.
You can drive across that bridge or down that highway all day long if you like.

Regardless of how much they get out of paying, they still pay a lot. Can you imagine how much things would cost if big companies didn't find loop holes and had to pay in millions more. They are going to pass that on down to someone else, they are going to make their money regardless.

On the contrary there are many small operations and mom and pop businesses that provide the same services, the nation just has not come together and used those outlets in mass. Big corps can fail if we let them. However your thinking (shared by many) is why they have thrived for decades.

This is the logic that says if they can afford great accountants, they get money from the government they should have paid in, ie free money, smart move.

Anytime someone is let out of a debt obligation, thats free money.

If someone that makes below a certain amount gets free money on a card to purchase food, mooch. Really?

Id much rather see my taxes go to feed people, call it a nagging Christian upbringing, than see corporate crooks get away with ripping off the tax payers

PS...Id also rather see my taxes still go to feed the poor as opposed to war profiteering military industrial corporations that slide in with bulging unchecked contracts for little or no service.

Lets stop the raping of the treasury of these overpaid corporate criminals before we take food out of peoples stomachs.

Here's a memo, so pay attention. Though it's really not hard to understand.

If the said evil corporate entity didn't break any law or violate any IRS rule, there was no "debt obligation" in the first place. Therefore there was no "free money" involved and I'd just bet that said evil corporate entity would take offense to your "free money" analogy. It takes money to make money. Quite unlike in the utopia that democrats and OWS freaks yearn for. Like JB says, paying a big tax bill is a good problem to have. And I would add that getting a great accountant is even better because I can damn sure spend my money better than they can.
