Theft ?

Have you ever had a significant theft ? I personally have had 2 vehicles stolen. I was stupid.....I had left the keys in the car ( this was back in the 70's ) and the car was totaled while police were chasing it for another reason of course I only had liability insurance. The 2nd was stolen in broad daylight in the Walmart parking lot on a Saturday. It was locked and wife had the keys. It was located 30 days later in an impound lot 100 miles away ( they found me to send a bill for impound fees). So, I have become a fan of Apple Airtags. I have several, in all my vehicles and various equipment (truck, jeep, tractor, ATV, generator, RV)....but today I added Airtags to a gunsafe and to one of the AR's. I always ask myself "risk vs benefit". Airtag is low risk (cost) and very high benefit.

Growing up our house was broken into twice, once by the son of the plumbing subcontractor during a remodel and once by parties unknown. The first time my dad's S&W 686 and Beretta 21A were stolen and the Beretta used to shoot a cop (vest caught the round, sh!tbag caught a healthy dose of hickory shampoo). The second time they stole some electronics and a couple of gold coins.
