Thanksgiving…..it has never changed for me. It is, has been and (I expect) always will be about gratitude, family, food and foorball
I am a fan of Halloween,,,
I always liked dressing up in costume,,,
Then escorting a group of small kids around the neighborhood.
The last several years before I retired,,,
My College (at OSU) promoted the wearing of fun costumes.
Every year I dressed like a Pirate,,,
And handed out little airline bottles of rum with a small can of Coke.
Even now as a retired old fart,,,
I still dress like a pirate to hand out candy to the kids.
For family I always preferred Thanksgiving,,,
Christmas holidays were always too drama filled for me.
