Thanksgiving…..it has never changed for me. It is, has been and (I expect) always will be about gratitude, family, food and foorball 😉

And no gotdamned pressure about buying gifts for people you don't give two sh*ts about or attending Xmas parties with people you don't give two sh*ts about.

Yeah, I'm a Grinch.

Thanksgiving and Independence Day

Though, I fear the libturd history rewrites may cancel both, in the next few years. Or rename them, at the very least.

I enjoy Christmas, though not as much since grandkids are grown. GREATS aren't old enough to know what is happening. Maybe 4-5 years, if I'm still around.

I am a fan of Halloween,,,
I always liked dressing up in costume,,,
Then escorting a group of small kids around the neighborhood.

The last several years before I retired,,,
My College (at OSU) promoted the wearing of fun costumes.

Every year I dressed like a Pirate,,,
And handed out little airline bottles of rum with a small can of Coke.

Even now as a retired old fart,,,
I still dress like a pirate to hand out candy to the kids.

For family I always preferred Thanksgiving,,,
Christmas holidays were always too drama filled for me.
