I guess none since Walmart and the rest put everything out 3 months before they happen- I'm wore out way ahead and they just don't mean much. Christmas is ruined with all the present buying and expectations. And even the Mass at this time seems not so special when folks show up who feel like they need to. I need to get over that though cause I was one of them before I got my mind right. Damn hypocrite.
Thanksgiving. Why? Because everyone likes to eat and the smells are wonderful!
It isn't even the end of Sept and already stores are advertising Halloween and before Halloween, they'll advertise future holidays.
Halloween and 4th of July, in that order for me. I've never been a fan of Thanksgiving and I'm becoming less of a fan of Christmas every year.
The thing I don't like about Halloween these days is that I always felt like it should be scary. Now, I'm not saying you should scare the diapers off toddlers or anything, but I just think it should be less cutesy than everyone seems to want it to be. This is a disagreement that my wife and I have every year.
