I dont really have any loyalties to channels themselves just maybe two or three shows that i try to catch. If I had to name a channel im loyal to though it would be espn to catch up on the sports world.
MLB TV
NatGeo
Discovery, Animal Planet, TLC and The History channels are great, but some of their shows seem to hint that they're going the way of MTV and VH1. Getting too many reality-type shows.
For me its not about channels anymore, just a handful of shows I watch regularly by whatever means I can (DVR, Netflix, internet episodes) and whatever newfalngled show appeals to me at the time (i.e. HBO miniseries).
If I had to choose 3 though: SPEED gives me my Formula 1 fix, History gives me Top Shot, and BBC gives me Top Gear. Comedy Central would be way up there for The Daily Show, but I can just watch those on their website anymore.
I don't pay for TV. No satellite, no cable, just whatever I can pick up with an antena for free. Don't watch enough to justify spending any bucks monthly. My antena was $30.00 used. works great!
