I'd like to hear ricco's terms of engagement on this one . Maybe he could tell the grandkids how Grammy was noble in the way she didn't use violence with the unarmed assailants. Now let's all help Grampy find Grammy's arm.... SMH!

Well.... they WERE unarmed so nothing bad can happen and we checked all the boxes on the Five Elements. Studies predicted a different outcome?

You sound like a loon. You are not automatically arrested in a good shoot. Oh my. Quickly becoming blockable.

Anyone remember this one?

Oklahoma's law states that a person who is attacked in their home "has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force, if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony."

Well we know this applies to your home.... but I believe this applies to your business and auto as well? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

This was clearly a money crime, and the dead lady had zero right to protect herself with deadly force. Clearly. It was just her turn to die. Wasn’t the thieves fault. It would have been legally foolish for her to have responded with deadly force had she been able. Better to die than to risk a big legal bill.

What these pieces of sh** deserve for this they won’t get; not for this. But eventually, I predict, it will find them.

Castle doctrine and Stand Your Ground often get confused.
In OK Castle Doctrine says that in your home, you have the presumption that anyone breaking into your home has the intend to do great bodily harm or kill the occupants, and you can deploy deadly force without first seeing the intruder having a weapon. This was explained to me by a gun lawyer years ago, I believe he is correct and that is still the case.

I think a few years back they extended the Castle Doctrine to your car, and maybe business, but I'm not sure.

Stand Your Ground applies to anywhere outside the home that you have a legal right to be; no requirement to retreat.

I'm not a lawyer, any OK lawyers please speak up.

This problem will only get worse until we are allowed to call it what it is! These punks two black, one white, are SPOILED BRATS! They have the ATTITUDE THEY HAVE BEEN MISTREATED, AND THAT EVERYONE OWES THEM SOMETHING! The one thing these punks all have in common is, they are STUPID, and LAZY, I guess that is two things. Like all predictors, they look for the helpless, injured, non-treating targets! Predators only understand one thing, survival of the fittest, at any cost! But if this guy had shot and killed these punks, it would have cost him his lifes savings to keep from going to prision for this JUSTIFIED ACT! Had the lap dog news media, and left wing politicians, happened to NEED PUBLICITY, for gun control, or some other phony cause at the time, he would have ended up like the cop in Miniapplous, that is in prison over George Floyd KILLING HIMSELF WITH DRUGS! Ask yourself WHY I still remember George Floyds name, when dozens of homeless, drug addicts, die every day on the streets of this country? A picking buddy was in Florida years ago, camped in a RV with his wife, and two small grand kids, when two black guys kicked in his door and can me in! He shot once killing both, with a head shot each, I guess they were lined up like chickens. This shooting was ruled justifiable in court, but he still had to hire lawyers, then he was suied by everyone that ever talked to ether one of these punks, that took years to resolve all the law suits, and he told me the total cost to fight this was OVER $400,000.00, AND HE WON! THIS ADJUSTED FOR INFLATION WOULD LIKEL;Y BE TWICE THAT NOW! Is something wrong with that?

Yes it applies exactly the same in a business and occupied vehicles. Per the self defense act.
