I'm all about MAS, but that DD barrel is an almost unbeatable deal right now.

I ordered one of those DD barrels a few days ago. I don't have anything to put it on but I could not pass on one.

I talked to Matt at MAS today and he said they could still build me an entry upper for about $400 and was very helpful and informative.

I found out today that a friend of mine that lives in Glenpool has the tools and a lot of experience in putting AR's together. He has 7-9 of his own and was putting a barrel on someone else's today. He pointed out this barrel assembly from Stag http://www.stagarms.com/product_info.php?cPath=15_36&products_id=294 that I think I will use. Similar to what was suggested above only I'm still going to use my stripped upper instead of getting a complete upper. I will also be getting a BCM BGC.

Thanks a lot for everyone's input so far you all have helped me a bunch.

I personally think the DD barrel and a nice inexpensive YHM FF tube would put you ahead for similar money.

You'd get 1-7 twist,
