i think i might see a problem the spring should be pushing up on the trigger bar it might have unwound when the bar fell out.

its pretty easy now that i know what to look for.

Glad you got it fixed on the cheap. However, I'd fire a magazine or two through it before trusting it as a self defense weapon again.
