How many have been CCW and made contact with a police officer? I have on numerous occasions. I say “I want to let you know I am armed”. The general response I get is an annoyed “OK”. Time to time I get “you leave yours where it is and I leave mine where it is”. But generally they seem annoyed by it or act like I’m doing something wrong by informing them. I am under the impression that in the state of Oklahoma if I am concealing a weapon I am required by law to inform the officer of such.
What’s your experience?

Zero negative experience for me after the first few months of the SDA law passing when we were required to notify immediatly.
One OHP asked me to remove my pistol from the pocket and put it on the dash before going to his vehicle. That wasn't legal, but he wasn't agitated and didn't really understand that he couldn't ask that, but I let it go and did it.
NOW with body cams, I would never reach for or attempt to remove a firearm from my person or in a concealed area. I would flat out refuse to do so and tell the officer if he wants it removed or moved, he can cuff me and do it themself. (not currently allowed to do that)
I've had a couple traffic stops since that original incident because I have a lead foot, and none seem concerned nor comment after the stop and being informed.
With our new Constitutional law we don't have to inform but I still do or will do in the future. I also produce my CC license even though we are not required to have one now because I want that officer to know I've been investigated and not some person with a history of violence or other law breaking.
Give me my ticket and have a nice day comment and we will both go our own way. They did their job and I did mine.

One officer wanted to talk about my carry choice.
It wasn't my carry choice but we talked about the laser in my carry gun. I commented it was a red laser. He recommended a green laser as its visible during daylight. I've since acquired two green lasers. Realized I don't really need a laser in daylight. That's what sights are for, but I have em. :D

Do you just randomly make contact to inform them?

Lol, no. It’s only when it’s an official contact. Example, my daughter had a minor traffic accident last night. When I got to the location and the the first officer approached me I informed, he seemed very annoyed. The second and third officer (each at later times and each alone when approaching me) both said the same thing, good, keep it where it is and I’ll do the same. I have had other experiences where the officer says “that’s great, I wish everyone would”. It’s not a bash post by any means, I was just curious. I know that I always wanted to know when I was on duty who, besides me, had a firearm.

Okay, I have always notified in traffic stops and never had the impression the officer was annoyed. Rarely am I pulled over so I don't have a lot of examples.

I am a commercial driver, Class 8 truck. We get pulled over more than regular passenger car drivers. One of the reasons is that the LEO doesn't need a reason to pull over a CDL driver.

Having said that, I still inform. The LEO will run your plate, and know anyway if you have a carry license.

I have never had a 'bad vibe' from any LEO that stopped me. Granted, it's almost always a State Trooper, and I think Troopers are a different cut of LEO compared to straight run City Cop.

Mostly I get a positive response, although some don't seem to care one way or another. I've never seen an LEO annoyed about me carrying. It's just part of their job, they have to deal with it.

Been stopped in Edmond, Piedmont, and on I-35 in TX over the years, all 3 officers acted like it was no big deal.
Edmond just said 'no problem, just keep your hands where I can see 'em', Piedmont just said something like 'no problem', and TX just said 'no problem, just don't pull it out while I'm talkin' to ya'.

Edit: didn't get a ticket from any of them.
